Mai Neng Moua | Attorney at Law
Mai Neng Moua was admitted to the Minnesota bar in 2007. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History, Political Science, and East Asian Studies from the University of St. Thomas in May 2004. She received her Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law in May 2007.
Prior to Mai Neng’s admission to the Minnesota bar, she worked as a Law Clerk with Davis & Goldfarb from June 2004 to October 2007. She was responsible for a wide variety of family and employment-based immigration law cases. She also served as a student attorney with William Mitchell’s Immigration Law Clinic, representing clients in various administrative immigration proceedings.
As an attorney with Davis & Goldfarb from October 2007 to October 2012, Mai Neng worked with a wide range of clients, including large and small corporate companies, educational institutions, and private individuals. Her areas of focus include naturalization, family and employment-based petitions, waivers of inadmissibility, asylum application/interview, and removal defense. She has additional experience in PERM (the Department of Labor’s permanent labor certification program) applications; immigrant petition for alien workers in various preference category; adjustment of status applications; and non-immigrant work visas such as H-1B, L-1, and TN.
As an attorney with Krueger Law Firm from October 2012 to December 2013, and a sole practitioner with Mai N. Moua Law Office from January 2014 to the present, Mai Neng is responsible for overseeing personal injury cases, including no fault and bodily injury claims, arbitration, and mediation, as well as immigration cases including naturalization with and without a medical waiver, family and employment based immigration petition, asylum, waiver of inadmissibility, and removal defense.
She currently serves as the Vice President of the Hmong American Bar Association; Past Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) – Minnesota/Dakotas Chapter; AILA-MN/Dakotas Ambassador to the American Immigration Council; and sits on the Board of Directors of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Minnesota, Hmong American Education Fund (HAEF), and Prairie Seeds Academy. She was also recognized by Minnesota Lawyer in 2017 as one of the Attorneys of the Year.
KARN TINTANI I ATTORNEY AT LAW
Karn is a licensed attorney admitted to the State Bar of California. Because immigration law is a federal law, Karn works with clients throughout the United States and internationally to unite family and help employers find the best talents for their company. Karn is a native of Thailand, and he holds a U.S. law degree from both the University of Minnesota Law School and Mitchell Hamline School of Law. During his last year of law school, Karn clerked in an immigration law firm for a year, and he was also a certified student attorney at the Legal Assistance to Minnesota Prisoners: Mitchell Hamline School of Law. During his second year in law school, he worked as a student worker paraprofessional at the Office of Freight and Commercial Vehicles Operation: MnDOT. Admission: California (Dec. 2018)
